Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to safeguard our organizations digital infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting sensitive data, mitigating cyber threats, and ensuring compliance with security best practices.

• Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and mitigate potential threats.
• System Security Management:
• Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus tools.
• Perform regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Compliance & Policy Development:
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Conduct risk assessments to identify security gaps.
• Design and implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect critical assets.
• Employee Training & Awareness:
• Educate employees on cyber security practices and phishing awareness.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for internal teams.
• System Upgrades & Patching:
• Regularly update software, systems, and hardware to address vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to secure system configurations.
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents and remediation efforts.
• Prepare reports for management on security status and improvement plans.
