Oracle Private Cloud​/Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical systems

• Industry recognized security certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE, CISSP or equivalent related certifications are preferred.
• Technology/Vendor based certifications are preferred.
• Operating systems certifications such as MCSE and RHCSA is preferred.

• Oracle certifications (Oracle Linux, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, OVM).
• Experience with Oracle databases and middleware platforms
• Exposure to Kubernetes, containers, or hybrid cloud integrations
• ITIL certification or ITSM process knowledge

• 5+ years of experience in private cloud, virtualization, or infrastructure operations

• Operating System administrations (Microsoft Operating System family, Linux and UNIX).
• Network advance troubleshooting experience (Routing, DNS and TCP/IP protocols).
• Programming and database basics and concepts.
• ITIL fundamentals, Problem, Incident, Change and Release Management.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to efficiently resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication, reporting and time management skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA)
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Linux, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Oracle VM / KVM, compute, storage, and networking components.
• Solid understanding of data center architecture and private cloud operations
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Automation & Monitoring:
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, Shell)
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (OEM, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.)
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and incident/problem/change management processes.
