DevOps Engineer

Overview

The Senior Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and delivery pipelines across on-premise and multi-cloud environments. This role focuses on CI/CD automation, containerized platforms, observability, and infrastructure automation to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery. Working closely with engineering, security, and operations teams, the position drives best practices in deployment, monitoring, and platform stability while supporting complex, distributed systems.

• Design, implement, and lead CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Nexus/JFrog, and Sonar Qube to ensure reliable and high-quality software delivery.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes across on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling, security hardening, and high availability.
• Implement and maintain observability solutions using ELK Stack and Prometheus/Grafana for logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
• Manage and support messaging and caching systems including Kafka and Redis to ensure performance and reliability.
• Enforce code quality, security, and compliance standards across the delivery pipeline.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to improve deployment strategies, reliability, and system resilience.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid recovery.

• 7-10 years of professional experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus/JFrog, and Sonar Qube.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools including ELK Stack and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
• Experience managing messaging and data systems such as Kafka and Redis.
• Strong understanding of high availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery principles.
• Experience working across on-premise and multi-cloud environments.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
