Senior IT engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Computer Technician to join our Urban Transport project in Riyadh with immediate availability
.

The selected candidate will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems
, providing technical support, diagnosing issues, and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and critical infrastructure.

• Installing and configuring hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues (onsite and remote).
• Replacing components, documenting procedures, and generating reports.
• Supporting deployment of new applications.
• Managing user accounts, profiles, and passwords.
• Executing software tests and creating test case procedures.
• Evaluating new technologies and ensuring continuous system reliability.
• Conducting electrical safety checks on equipment.
• Experience with VMware and Oracle VM / OVM (maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, patching).
• Linux OS: maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Windows 10 & Windows Server 2016
  : maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, patching.
• Knowledge of Web Logic
  .
• Knowledge of HAProxy
  .
• Basic knowledge of Oracle Database
  .
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL
  .
• Basic networking:
  IP addressing, VLANs, firewalling, troubleshooting
  .
• Hardware maintenance experience.
• Experience with SFTP, SSH, and software transfer methods.
• Experience with Kubernetes
  , particularly Micro K8s (maintenance, updates, troubleshooting).
• Required degree:
  Computer Engineer
  .
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in basic IT operations and support
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze requirements and improvement requests.
• Initiative and autonomy
