Responsible for re-implementing and optimizing Banner 9 (XE) systems by enabling unused functionality and enhancing business processes across Registration, Academic Records, and Student Accounts. The role focuses on resolving complex, production-critical issues, translating functional requirements into technical solutions, and supporting end-to-end project execution. Requires strong expertise in Banner, Argos, and advanced Oracle SQL/PL/SQL within a higher education environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Functional Expertise:
Re-implement and optimize existing system installations by activating unused features and designing improved business processes for key areas such as Registration, Academic Records, and Student Accounts Receivable. - Complex Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve high-impact, cross-functional, and production-critical issues to ensure uninterrupted campus operations. - Stakeholder Liaison:
Act as a bridge between technical IT teams and non-technical university stakeholders (e.g., Registrar, Student Affairs), translating business needs into clear functional specifications. - Project Management:
Lead customer-facing workshops, define testing objectives, and manage customizations across all project phases, from discovery through deployment.
Skills Required:
- Banner Ecosystem:
Strong expertise in Banner 9 (XE) and related tools, including Argos. - Database Management:
Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis, complex reporting, and backend validation.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in higher education administration or consulting, preferably with Ellucian products.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
