A senior‑level technical position responsible for architecting, automating, securing, and operating a multi‑cloud platform spanning Oracle Cloud (OCI) and Google Cloud (GCP). The role ensures high availability, resilience, security, and regulatory compliance for banking workloads, while championing automation, Git Ops practices, and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform across GCP and OCI.
Operate, maintain, and optimise managed Kubernetes environments (OKE & GKE).
Manage core platform components including Kong API Gateway, Istio/Service Mesh, Vault, and External
DNS.Implement Git Ops workflows using ArgoCD and integrate CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.
Deploy, configure, and support observability tooling:
Dynatrace, Prometheus, Alert manager, and Grafana.Strengthen platform security through SAST, DAST, RBAC, mTLS, image scanning, and broader Dev Sec Ops controls.
Lead disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring alignment with RTO/RPO targets and SAMA IT Governance.
Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
Drive platform scalability, performance improvements, and cost optimisation initiatives.
Advanced expertise in Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and Terraform.
Strong hands‑on experience with managed Kubernetes (HA, upgrades, scaling, service mesh, gateways).
Deep knowledge of Istio, API Gateways, Service Mesh architectures, and traffic management.
Proficiency with Vault for secrets management and PKI.
Solid experience with Git Ops (ArgoCD), CI/CD automation, Helm, and Kustomize.
Strong troubleshooting capabilities across microservices and distributed systems.
