WHY YOU'RE HERE
The Solutions Design Specialist will support Disguise's plans to expand our footprint in the Middle East, with a specific focus on Saudi Arabia. This role will report to the Director of Solutions Design but will primarily support the VP of Creative Services, Director of Innovation, and the local Disguise Sales Manager in the sales phase, technical conceptualisation, design, and scoping of complex projects, including virtual production stages, LED stages, broadcast solutions, and other immersive experiences.
In particular, they will support the team of Disguise internal stakeholders and strategic external partners in helping clients refine their project vision in the market during early-stage ideation. Helping clients and prospects to understand the 'art of the possible'.
The Solutions Design Specialist will then assist in developing system designs, creating technical project scopes, responding to ROMs (Rough Orders of Magnitude), and contributing to SOWs (Statements of Work) to ensure customer deliverables are clear and well understood by all internal and external stakeholders. The Solutions Design Specialist will also be responsible for supporting hardware-only scoping requirements, which, although simpler in design, are equally critical to our business success.
They will also provide hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle, guiding and advising the broader Customer Excellence team to ensure designs are properly understood and supported through the effective installation or commissioning phase and to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and success.
They will be able to operate independently and with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us succeed in this marketing, but equally are an excellent communicator and collaborator so that internal London-based stakeholders are aligned and informed.
WHAT YOU ARE HERE TO DO
Key Responsibilities:
- Ideation and Technical Feasibility: Support the Creative Services, Innovation, and Sales teams in working with clients to ideate and refine concept ideas in the very earliest stages of collaboration. Help Disguise bring to life the 'big ideas' with what is technically possible with Disguise hardware, software, and services. Identify opportunities to augment projects with third-party equipment and integrations.

Collaboration:
Assist the sales team in gathering client requirements, determining technical needs, and creating customized solutions for customer projects. Support the coordination of responses to ROMs and the creation of project scopes, timelines, and budgets. Contribute to SOWs to reflect the project scope, timelines, budget, and overarching designs as required. - Technical Design & Documentation: Oversee all aspects of system designs, equipment specifications, and project documentation in collaboration with the project sales manager. Design, draw, and specify LED volumes, lighting, audio, and projection systems in 2D and 3D. Create documentation concerning technical systems being installed on client sites. This can include, but not be limited to;
System Configurations, Equipment Lists, As-Built documentation, photography, video recordings, and operational and maintenance documentation. - Vendor & Partner Coordination: Work closely with external vendors, strategic partners, and key internal teams to source, integrate, and deploy the solutions designed. This might include collaborating with vendors on LED stages, camera tracking systems, and other technologies.
