Solutions Architect

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Downstream Technology Lead and project manager to oversee large-scale technology programs focused on integrating data from a range of upstream banking and business applications into a diverse set of downstream systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable integrations supporting operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and robust reporting to regulatory bodies and third parties as required in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

• Lead the design, implementation, and governance of technology-driven downstream integration programs across the organization.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle for downstream technology initiatives, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Architect and execute data integration strategies (batch, real-time, and near real-time) between upstream applications (e.g., Temenos Core Banking, MS Dynamics CRM, Digital Channels) and downstream platforms including Data Warehouse, ALM, ACM, IFRS9, Firco Name Screening, Firco Continuity, OneSumX, Oracle GL, and others.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure robust, resilient, and compliant data flows throughout all integration points.
• Oversee implementation of industry best practices in ETL/ELT, data mapping, and transformation for high-volume financial data.
• Drive the resolution of complex technical issues and lead troubleshooting efforts for mission-critical data flows.
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary technology teams, providing guidance and expertise to deliver integration projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure that all solutions adhere to security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements, with a focus on regional standards of GCC financial institutions and specifically KSA regulatory frameworks

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mandatory regulatory and third-party reporting required by KSA authorities (such as SAMA, Capital Market Authority, and other relevant bodies), including the automation and validation of reporting processes for downstream applications.
• Automate, Monitor and maintain compliance with KSA-specific reporting mandates, proactively adapting to regulatory updates and changes.
• Report project status, key milestones, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership and business stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in leading large-scale downstream technology integration programs in banking or financial services environments.
• Demonstrated expertise integrating data from upstream applications such as Temenos Core Banking, MS Dynamics CRM, Digital Channels, and others, with downstream solutions including Data Warehouse, ALM, ACM, IFRS9, Firco, OneSumX, Oracle GL, etc.
• Hands-on experience with batch processing, real-time, and near real-time data integration tools and middleware.
• Deep knowledge of mandatory regulatory and third-party reporting requirements in KSA, including experience in implementing and maintaining reports to local authorities and external partners.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to data flows and reporting in banking operations (e.g., IFRS9, AML, compliance screening, financial reporting) with a particular emphasis on KSA regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of leading cross-border technology teams.
• Understanding of regional financial industry trends and challenges, particularly in GCC markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
