Business Intelligence & Decision Support Specialist

To enable data-driven decision-making by developing data insights, analytical reports, and interactive dashboards. The role focuses on transforming business requirements into actionable intelligence that supports strategic planning, performance management, and operational excellence.

• Develop meaningful data insights to support executive, operational, and strategic decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical reports.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform business analysis to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into data and reporting solutions.
• Support project and product management initiatives through data analysis and performance tracking.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure business and organizational performance.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with IT, data, and business teams to integrate and maintain data sources.
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports for management and leadership.
• Document BI processes, methodologies, and data definitions.
• Comply with data governance, privacy, and information security policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Decision Support.
• Strong experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with structured data.
• Solid understanding of data insights development and analytical methodologies.
• Experience in business analysis, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with project and product management concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience in performance management frameworks and KPI design.
• Exposure to data governance and data quality standards.
• Experience in government or large-scale organizations is an advantage.
