In this role, you will collaborate closely with one of our esteemed clients—a global leader in their industry, recognized for their commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence. They have partnered with Dautom as their trusted IT consulting provider for upcoming strategic initiatives.
Role PurposeThe role holder is responsible for supporting and maintaining complex applications in Production environment. The duties include reporting to your manager, collaborating with colleagues to guide and fix technical issues. You will also be required to provide support to our clients on their technical issues.
Key Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesCore Responsibility
- Provide Level 2 support for applications, resolving technical issues and incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve application-related problems.
- Deploy applications on Linux server and Open Shift (is a plus).
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application deployment and integration.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and technologies, particularly in cloud computing.
- Provide Go-Live support for both application and technical aspects.
- Undergo a detailed study of the existing system to recommend installation, upgrade, or enhancement.
- Interact with customers or clients throw as (Level 1 &
2) about the application status and solve their technical issues if any or transfer it to concerned team if needed. - Consulting with the software Infrastructure team, development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
- Analyzing the root cause of an incident to the Development team if needed.
- Keeping record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
- Assist with planning and testing of application, installation, configuration, patches, and update production support documentation.
- Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, responsibility, and confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
- Reporting to your manager, collaborating with colleagues to present proper records and reports of any Production incident or enhancement.
- Monitor the ticket queue/reports to ensure tickets never exceed our SLA agreement.
- Assist with gathering symptoms of an incident while compared to history of past incidents.
- Logging taken actions during a war room.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar.
Professional Certifications
Must have experience in Saas AML System, Anti Fraud System.
- Must have problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes.
- Strong knowledge in Linux
- Strong knowledge of JSON, shell scripting, python is a plus.
- Understanding of Database & Network concepts (preferred).
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAS technology support is a plus
- Worked before in a banking industry - is a plus
Fluency in English and Arabic is a plus. Additional Languages will be desirable.
