Senior Product Manager - Tech, Quick Commerce, Delivery Experience
Want to be on a team that invents the future e-commerce model with Amazon in Japan? Amazon Delivery Experience (DEX) is seeking a customer-obsessed, analytical-savvy Senior Product Manager-Tech to launch "deliver in minutes", quick commerce experience in Japan.
This is a high visibility role and an advisor to VP+ level stakeholders. You will be on a launch team that charters new business models in Amazon Japan. In this senior PMT role, you’ll help drive our strategy in business and customer experience through uncovering deep insights on customer habits, selection and inventory economics, and operational trade offs. Previously, much of these insights discovery were done via the traditional Business Intel roles - your role will deliver through leveraging the latest Generative AI capabilities, to bring product and business innovations at scale for JP delivery experience.
This is a highly strategic role that combines deep analytical thinking with operational impact—and your work will be central to the success of Japan's delivery programs. We’re looking for someone who has a solid grasp of the classical business analytical toolkit, but passionate about transforming business management and customer insights discovery via GAI.
Key job responsibilities- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to design durable analytical capabilities that support strategic decisions in each domain of Customer Delivery Experience;
- Tackle ambiguous, high-impact problems by defining analytical approaches —driving clarity to informing business and product strategy;
- Design and implement self-service data tools, pipelines, and frameworks that empower cross-functional teams to access and use high-quality data independently.
- Own the development and delivery of transparency reporting, including defining meaningful metrics, and advising leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Become a key thought partner in Amazon Store Japan's GAI transformation of business management and product innovation.
- Foster a culture of analytical rigor, clear communication, and shared accountability for impact across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, Quick Sight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
