Senior Active Directory and Exchange Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Active Directory (AD) & Exchange Consultant to lead enterprise-level identity and messaging modernization initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, upgrading, and implementing secure, scalable Active Directory and Exchange environments, including Hybrid deployments integrated with Microsoft 365.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in AD modernization, Exchange Server upgrades, and Hybrid identity architecture, along with the ability to lead technical workshops, guide stakeholders, and deliver end-to-end migration strategies.

• Assess and modernize Active Directory environments (domain/forest functional levels, replication, DNS, GPOs, and security posture)
• Lead domain controller upgrades, legacy decommissioning, schema updates, and AD hardening initiatives
• Plan and execute Exchange Server upgrades (e.g., 2010/2013/2016 to 2019)
• Design and implement Exchange Hybrid configurations with Microsoft 365
• Manage mailbox migrations (Cutover, Staged, Hybrid) and ensure seamless coexistence
• Deploy and configure Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync and support identity synchronization
• Implement Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance controls
• Provide technical leadership, architecture documentation, and knowledge transfer

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with Active Directory and Exchange Server
• Proven expertise in Exchange Hybrid and Exchange Online deployments
• Strong knowledge of DNS, PKI, mail flow, SMTP, and Power Shell automation
• Experience with identity security hardening and governance
• Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-800/801, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience in large enterprise or multi-forest environments is a plus
