Senior Control-M Engineer

SYNTAX IT Group is expanding its regional automation practice and is looking for a Senior Control‑M Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

• Lead end‑to‑end BMC Control‑M implementations, upgrades, and migrations
• Design, build, and optimize complex batch workflows and dependencies
• Integrate Control‑M with enterprise platforms, databases, and applications
• Support high‑availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and automation initiatives
• Ensure workload automation availability and recovery readiness across environments
• Support environment failover readiness and post‑event workload stabilization
• Maintain and execute operational runbooks for critical batch processes
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure consistent workload behavior across environments
• Work directly with customers to translate business requirements into automation solutions

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with BMC Control‑M
• Mandatory Control‑M certifications (BMC Certified Professional / Specialist or equivalent)
• Proven experience implementing Control‑M in production environments
• Strong experience with Linux / Unix environments (Windows is a plus)
• Solid understanding of enterprise batch processing and scheduling concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

• Experience in banking, financial services, telco, or regulated industries
• Exposure to Control‑M MFT, Application Integrator, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with DR automation and business continuity
• Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
• Arabic language skills (a plus, not mandatory)
