Application & Production Support Engineer

Description

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Production Support Engineer to take ownership of open banking platform stability, incident resolution, and technical support operations. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience supporting microservices‑based architecture, coordinating across teams, and ensuring system uptime and compliance with banking standards.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in relevant field
• Act as the primary production support engineer for Open Banking, including handling after‑hours support
• Provide L1/L2 technical support for Open Finance applications
• Successfully resolve technical incidents raised by TPPs, PASPs, and in SAMA Confluence
• Monitor system alerts, application logs, and performance metrics to detect issues and prevent service interruptions
• Perform incident analysis, recovery, and validation, collaborating with development, middleware, and infrastructure teams
• Facilitate communication between Business and APIC teams for production support and DR (Disaster Recovery) activities
• Support integrations of microservices hosted on Open Shift and related clusters
• Assist with technical development for Open Banking programs
• Support deployments, maintenance of environments, and DR operations following approved change management processes
• Ensure end-to-end application stability, adherence to bank security guidelines, and operational standards
• Generate and manage monthly SAMA APIC reports
• Maintain detailed runbooks, deployment records, readiness checklists, and contribute to continuous service reliability and automation improvements
