Lead Designer

UI Lead & UX Lead - 6 month contracts - immediate start in Riyadh

Location: Riyadh, KSA (On-site)

Language: Arabic & English required

We are building a high‑calibre design capability to elevate the quality, clarity, and effectiveness of large‑scale digital journeys used by thousands of users daily.

As part of this, we are hiring both a UX Lead and a UI Lead to work in close partnership, shaping how complex digital products become simpler, clearer, and more intuitive for users while aligning tightly with business and operational goals.

These are senior, hands‑on leadership roles for practitioners who combine strong design craft with enterprise thinking, business process understanding, and the confidence to operate in fast‑paced, high‑visibility environments.

You will join a delivery environment where digital journeys are already live and widely used.

Your role will be to elevate — not start from scratch.

• The UX Lead will focus on usability, structure, information hierarchy, and journey optimisation.
• The UI Lead will focus on visual clarity, interface quality, consistency, and design system maturity.

Together, you will significantly improve how users experience complex, data‑rich, business‑critical platforms.

• Assess and audit existing journeys to identify usability friction and cognitive overload
• Simplify complex flows and restructure key digital experiences
• Conduct lightweight user testing with Arabic‑speaking users and translate insights into action
• Apply enterprise UX thinking and business process logic to improve journeys
• Use data and insight to inform design decisions and prioritisation
• Collaborate closely with UI, product, and engineering teams to iterate rapidly
• Confidently communicate and defend UX decisions with stakeholders
• Mentor designers and champion user‑centred thinking across the team
• Elevate visual clarity, coherence, and overall interface quality
• Improve hierarchy, density management, and presentation of complex data
• Translate experience concepts into polished, production‑ready UI outputs
• Champion accessibility, inclusivity, and consistency as design principles
• Partner with product and engineering to ensure quality execution
• Guide and mentor designers to raise craft standards across the team

• 6–10+ years’ experience in UX, UI, or Product Design roles
• Strong experience working on enterprise, data‑heavy, or workflow‑driven platforms
• Deep understanding of business processes and how they translate into digital journeys
• Proven ability to simplify complex environments through design
• Experience working within established design systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in fast‑moving environments
• Fluent Arabic and English communication
• Able to work on‑site in Riyadh

• Telco, fintech, super app, or large ecosystem platforms
• Regulated or service‑heavy environments
• Accessibility and inclusive design practices
• Strong experience presenting to senior stakeholders
