L2 Network Security Engineer

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with over 4 years of experience in implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise-level security solutions within large and dynamic environments. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering secure, scalable, and reliable network infrastructures aligned with business and security objectives.

• Implementing and managing advanced security solutions including NGFW, Dedicated IPS, SD-WAN, MDM, Secure Mail Gateways, Endpoint Management, Application Delivery Controllers (ADC), Secure Web Gateways (SWG), Global Traffic Managers, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• Deploying and supporting DNS Security solutions to protect DNS infrastructure against malicious activities.
• Implementing and troubleshooting various VPN technologies including IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site, and Remote Access VPNs.
• Providing Level 2 (L2) operational support and coordinating escalations with Level 3 (L3) Network Security Engineers.
• Developing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Managing security incidents and service requests in compliance with defined SLAs, including monitoring, analysis, categorization, prioritization, and resolution.
• Performing migration of network security systems while ensuring service continuity.
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation including topology diagrams and configuration records.
• Analyzing logs and security data to provide detailed reporting and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Configuring IP routing protocols and failover mechanisms to ensure high availability.
• Providing both onsite and remote technical support as required.

• Strong understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, VLANs, Routing, Switching, NAT, DNS, and DHCP.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies including IPsec, HTTPS, SSH, PKI, Firewall Policies, IDS/IPS, WAF, Endpoint Security, Anti-malware, Threat Detection, and Network Defense mechanisms.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Professional certifications in Network Security (CCNP Security, PCNSE/PNSE, NSE, JNCIP‑Sec, F5 Certified, or equivalent).
• Experience working in large enterprise and dynamic environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in 24×7 environments.
