Senior Techno Functional Oracle HCM Consultant Responsibilities
- Consultancy and support of the HRMS modules by resolving user issues and managing business requirements, including updating the system accordingly.
- Implementation of new HRMS modules and system features according to ABF methodology.
- Show initiative and creativity in developing innovative work‑around solutions or new processes.
- Utilize Oracle tools (API, PL/SQL, Reports) and other relevant packages such as Discoverer.
- Ongoing development of HRMS modules and participation in Reports and Forms customization.
- Assist in other Oracle functional or technical duties as required.
- Coordinate with Oracle DBAs and System administrators to resolve internal technical issues.
- Implement and test suggestions/recommendations from Oracle in test instances and custom solutions.
- Train non‑technical staff (i.e. end users) and prepare documentation and user guides for implemented solutions.
- Prepare and submit weekly activity reports to the PM and Unit Manager.
- Have knowledge of data‑conversion strategy and standard interfaces in the Oracle HRMS family.
- Work with team members to drive the current ongoing implementation.
- Complete Payroll Set‑up (Key & Descriptive Flex Fields, creating elements, imparting user training & support).
- Complete Public Employee Self Services (ESS) for the public sector in KSA.
- Write complex Fast Formulas and support the complete payroll cycle (pay processing, retro pay, costing and transfer to GL).
- Create and link various earnings & deductions elements and write calculation rules using Oracle Fast Formula.
- Set up, configure and run the OTL module.
- Map As‑Is processes, understand user expectations for To‑Be processes, prepare and secure user approval for Functional Specifications, and map business requirements to solutions.
- Strong experience in Oracle Human Capital Management “Oracle HCM” implementation.
- Comprehensive experience in enhancements/fixing projects for Oracle HCM.
- Experience in the financial and private sectors is preferable.
