Head of SAP Enterprise Architecture

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the enterprise-wide SAP S/4
  
  HANA landscape.
• Define and execute SAP platform strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee delivery of SAP projects, enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
• Provide leadership across key SAP modules: FICO, Success Factors, SCM, WM/EWM, PP, GRC, and Reporting.
• Ensure system stability, performance, security, compliance, and high availability.
• Establish governance, architecture standards, and best practices across Dev, QA, and Production environments.
• Lead integration with non-SAP systems and cloud platforms (BTP, APIs, PI/PO).
• Oversee data governance, user access controls, audit readiness, and risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization across SAP-enabled functions.
• Lead and develop SAP teams and manage external vendors and SLAs.
• Define and own the SAP enterprise architecture across all modules and integrations.
• Establish and enforce SAP solution design authority across all initiatives.
• Drive fit-to-standard and clean core principles, minimizing custom development.
• Approve all solution designs, functional specifications, and architecture decisions.
• Lead SAP S/4
  
  HANA transformation roadmap (enhancements, rollouts, optimization).
• Oversee SAP programs ensuring quality, not just timelines.
• Act as escalation point for solution and delivery issues.
• Ensure system stability, performance, scalability, and compliance.
• Build and lead SAP capability across functional, technical, and vendor teams.
• Mentor team to improve solution design quality and SAP best practices adoption.

• 10+ years of SAP experience
• Experience as SAP Enterprise Architect or SAP Practice Leader.
• Led end-to-end S/4
  
  HANA transformations.
• Strong multi-module SAP architecture experience.
• Strong integration experience (BTP, CPI, APIs).
• Experience with SAP governance frameworks.
• Ability to challenge business requirements.
• Ability to reject poor design decisions.
• Experience enforcing fit-to-standard and clean core.
