As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing servers, networks, and day-to-day IT operations across the organization. You will ensure high availability of systems through proactive monitoring, patching, and maintenance activities, while addressing technical issues for internal users. The role involves implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies, enforcing security policies, and maintaining detailed system documentation. You will collaborate closely with IT teams to enhance system performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
This position offers strong exposure to enterprise infrastructure within a structured industrial environment.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems
- Monitor system performance to ensure high availability and reliability
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Perform system updates, backups, and security patching activities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently
- Ensure IT infrastructure security and compliance with data protection standards
- Provide technical support to internal users and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain system documentation and IT asset inventory records
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and backup solutions
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve system performance and operational efficiency
- 2–5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, servers, and network infrastructure
- Experience in troubleshooting system and network issues
- Understanding of IT security best practices and policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in operational environments
- Professional certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, or equivalent)
- Experience in enterprise or industrial IT environments
- Knowledge of virtualization or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and IT service management frameworks
