Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Specialist.
Job Summary:
The Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management (IAM) Senior Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, integration, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions across the organization. The role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient management of user identities, credentials, and access privileges across internal and external systems.
The role also focuses on automating IAM operations, strengthening access governance, supporting compliance requirements, and enhancing enterprise security through modern IAM technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:IAM Operations & Administration
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain IAM solutions including:
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Manage the full identity lifecycle including:
- User provisioning
- Access modifications
- Develop and enforce access control policies aligned with least-privilege principles.
- Monitor and maintain identity security controls across enterprise systems.
- Integrate IAM solutions with:
- Enterprise applications
- Automate onboarding, offboarding, and access management workflows using scripting and orchestration tools.
- Support hybrid identity and cloud IAM models.
- Conduct access reviews, governance operations, and compliance assessments.
- Assess IAM-related risks and implement mitigation controls.
- Support internal and external cybersecurity audits.
- Ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as:
- NCA
- ISO 27001
- NIST
- Monitor identity-related security alerts and investigate incidents.
- Identify root causes of IAM security incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Identify gaps in access controls and recommend enhancements.
- Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and business teams to support IAM initiatives.
- Communicate technical updates and IAM-related risks effectively to stakeholders.
- Support enterprise IAM strategies aligned with business and security objectives.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Cybersecurity
- Information Security
- Computer Science
- Or related field
- CISSP
- CISM
- CISA
- CRISC
- CCNP Security
- CCIE Security
- OSCP
- 4+ years of experience in:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cybersecurity
- Access Governance
- PAM Solutions
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts:
- Authorization
- SSO
- MFA
- RBAC
- Experience with IAM platforms/tools such as:
- Okta
- One Login
- Sail Point
- Forge Rock
- Familiarity with IAM standards and protocols:
