• Build the credit risk and analytics function from the ground up — including team, systems, and frameworks.
• Develop credit scoring, affordability, and behavioral models to support underwriting, pricing, and collections.
• Design and run experiments to optimize funnel conversion, approval rates, loss rates, and retention.
• Build data pipelines and decisioning systems using both traditional and alternative data sources.
• Partner closely with product and engineering to embed decision logic into real-time systems.
• Ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and ethical use of models across all decision‑making processes.
• Hire, lead, and develop a high‑performing credit risk and analytics team.
• Act as a thought partner to the business on credit risk frameworks, experimentation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Work closely with the founder on product strategy, pricing, portfolio performance, and scale.

• You have 6+ years of experience in data science, automated decisioning, or credit risk analytics, with at least 2+ years in a management role.
• You are proficient in SQL and at least one modeling language (Python or R).
• You have hands‑on experience designing and running A/B tests, with a strong understanding of funnel analytics and growth metrics.
• You can translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
• You have experience working with alternative data and understand how to apply it in credit decisioning.
• You thrive in ambiguous environments, move quickly across cross‑functional teams, and take full ownership of outcomes.

Experience in FMCG, B2B credit, or lending in emerging markets.
