Functional Business Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Functional Business Analyst who will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, with a strong focus on integration projects and Mule Soft-based solutions. The role involves leading requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder communication, and coordination across business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

• Lead and facilitate detailed business and functional requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Analyze and document business processes, system interactions, workflows, and integration requirements.
• Work closely with integration and development teams to define functional requirements for Mule Soft APIs and integrations.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, Mule Soft developers, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Support API-led connectivity initiatives and integration mapping between enterprise systems.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status updates.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in UAT planning, business validation, and solution sign-off activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirements management, system integration concepts, and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience working on enterprise integration projects and coordinating with Mule Soft or middleware teams.
• Experience with ERPs, APIs, and government sector projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with API concepts such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and system integration workflows.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with analysis and project tools such as Azure Dev Ops and MS Visio.
• Ability to analyze complex business and integration problems and deliver practical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be willing to work onsite in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Must be fluent in Arabic and English to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
