Head of Information Technology

The Head of IT is responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of IT infrastructure for AIC. He should be working with business owners to find solutions to manage business activities and should be Supervising the IT team while working closely with management, external vendors, and advisors, he is also responsible for Preparing financial budgets.

• Provides leadership and direction to the IT team and ensures that all IT requirements are met with efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversees the implementation of the sub-departmental policies, procedures, and controls covering all IT activities.
• Performs IT due diligence in assessing the health and viability of IT operations and environments of potential acquisition targets or partners.
• Manages and co-ordinates outsourced IT projects and agreements to ensure compliance and performance to contract.
• Supervising daily operations of the IT department.
• Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals.
• Managing IT budgets, forecast, and enforcing cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes.
• Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware.
• Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
• Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
• Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals.
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management.
• Supporting other departments in technology-related projects by providing feedback, advice, or direction.
• Providing Operations Executive Director with periodic memorandum and report of IT activities, projects pipelines, monitoring reports, and updates on ongoing/upcoming projects.
• Empowering, coaching, and engaging direct repartees in strategic projects and helping them to take the lead of those projects.

• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Professional certification such as CGEIT, CCNA, CISSP is preferred.
• IT Services Management.
• Systems Management.
• IT Infrastructure.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology/MIS or any related field.
• 10-13 years of experience in Information Technology.
