Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Lead to oversee enterprise infrastructure operations across a complex, mission-critical environment. This role will be responsible for managing hybrid infrastructure platforms, ensuring high availability, operational excellence, service continuity, and continuous optimization across cloud and on-premise ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across compute, virtualization, storage, networking, operating systems, databases, automation, and infrastructure operations, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

This position plays a strategic role in driving operational stability, automation, modernization initiatives, and infrastructure transformation aligned with business and technology objectives.

Infrastructure Operations & Service Delivery

• Lead day-to-day enterprise infrastructure operations across compute, storage, virtualization, database, backup, and network environments.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, reliability, and scalability in line with organizational SLAs and operational KPIs.
• Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, and operational governance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency, service quality, and infrastructure resilience.
• Manage infrastructure lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, migrations, capacity planning, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution to ensure business continuity readiness.

• Provide technical leadership and governance across:
• Windows Server
• AIX
• VMware
• Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI)
• Open Shift platforms
• Enterprise backup solutions
• LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Firewalls and load balancers
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex infrastructure and platform-related issues.
• Ensure infrastructure environments comply with security, compliance, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, cloud, and application teams to support enterprise initiatives and transformation programs.

• Drive automation and operational standardization initiatives using tools such as Ansible, scripting, and monitoring platforms.
• Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and reporting mechanisms to improve operational visibility and service reliability.

• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure operations teams to enhance technical capabilities and overall performance.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused operational culture.
• Engage with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to ensure effective service delivery and operational alignment.
• Provide operational reporting, risk assessments, and service improvement recommendations to leadership teams.

• Strong leadership experience managing enterprise infrastructure operations within large-scale environments.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following domains:
• Open Shift & container platforms
• Storage technologies (SAN/NAS)
• Oracle and MSSQL databases
• Enterprise networking technologies
• Backup and recovery solutions
• Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring, automation, and operational best practices.
• Experience working within ITIL-based operational environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple operational priorities within fast-paced enterprise environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations.
• Minimum 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing enterprise infrastructure teams.
