Job purpose:The Command Center Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing critical operational activities across all IT domains, including network, systems, and applications. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the efficient and seamless operation of IT services by monitoring, coordinating responses during incidents, and managing day-to-day IT operations.
Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain system and network portals on a daily basis.
- Act as a key member of the incident response team, focusing on reducing Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).
- Ensure timely updates for all open incidents, tracking their progress until resolution.
- Monitor the health of Geidea’s entire infrastructure and applications across all regions.
- Perform L1 troubleshooting for application-related issues.
- Facilitate scheduled system maintenance windows in compliance with SAMA regulations.
- Monitor and maintain the status of Wi-FI networks for Geidea Head Office (Ho) and Solar Winds systems.
- Update and maintain entry logs for all Geidea data centers.
- Add bulk serial numbers into the Terminal Management System (TMS) as new batches are received from the supply chain.
- Reset, unlock, disable, or enable user accounts and troubleshoot VPN login issues.
- Add reservations in DHCP to manage IP addresses efficiently.
- Ensure the proper functioning of CCTV systems.
- 1-3 Years of Experience
- Good understanding of English
- Minimum of a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Flexible to work in shifts.
- Fin-tech background is a must in case of previous experience.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage conflicts effectively
