Job PurposeThe Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s cybersecurity function to protect systems, networks, applications, and digital assets against cyber threats and security risks. The role oversees the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies, security architecture, vulnerability management, incident response, and identity access controls while ensuring compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks.
Key Accountabilities- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture, security controls, and defense mechanisms.
- Establish and manage vulnerability management programs, including security assessments, penetration testing, remediation tracking, and risk mitigation activities.
- Ensure continuous alignment with National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) frameworks, controls, regulations, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, breach management, and recovery procedures.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) frameworks, privileged access controls, and user access governance across the organization.
- Oversee network security architecture, segmentation strategies, firewalls, and security technologies to protect critical infrastructure and assets.
- Monitor cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging risks, ensuring proactive security measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate cybersecurity audits, compliance assessments, and security reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and awareness initiatives to enhance organizational security culture.
- Collaborate with IT, Digital, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to ensure secure implementation of systems and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position.
