NOC​/GIS Engineer - geospatial analysis, spatial data management, and mapping

We are currently looking to hire a NOC/GIS Engineer

• Network Monitoring & Geospatial Analysis:
  Use real-time monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, Zabbix) alongside GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) to visualize network health across geographic regions.
• Incident & Fault Management:
  Detect, diagnose, and resolve network failures or performance bottlenecks in 24/7 environments. Use GIS to pinpoint the exact physical location of cable breaks or hardware failures and HUAWEI Fiber Optic Sensing System.
• Infrastructure Maintenance:
  Perform routine checks, security patches, and hardware configurations (routers, switches, firewalls, servers) to ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Asset Mapping & Inventory:
  Maintain accurate digital records of ICT assets, such as fiber routes, cell towers, and data centers, using GIS databases and or system server to support capacity planning.
• Time Flexibility:
  Work on shifts.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, ICT, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• GIS Proficiency: 5 years’ experience with geospatial analysis, spatial data management, and mapping tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, or Map Info.
• ICT & Networking:
  Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and server.
• Technical Tools:
  Proficiency with Network Management Systems (NMS), ticketing platforms (Service Now, JIRA), and scripting (Python, Bash) for automation. Knowledge on HUAWEI Fiber Optic Sensing System is an advantage.

• CISCO CCNA/CCNP or HUAWEI HCIA
• CompTIA Network or ITIL Foundation
• GISP (GIS Professional or Esri Technical Certifications)
