Data Engineer, Data Analyst
The Lead Specialist Modeling and Architecture II designs and delivers high‑quality solution‑level data models and architecture artifacts to enable consistent governed and performant data products. The role applies enterprise standards to delivery initiatives and partners with engineering, governance and business stakeholders to translate requirements into implementable models. This role provides advanced technical leadership within delivery squads, ensuring modeling quality, integration readiness and conformance to enterprise patterns while supporting multiple projects and domains.
KeyAccountabilities
- Design and maintain logical and physical data models for analytics, integration, and reporting use cases aligned with enterprise standards and naming conventions.
- Translate business requirements into consistent entities, attributes, and relationships ensuring definitions align with the business glossary and stewardship ownership.
- Develop dimensional models and curated layer schemas that support performant analytics and standardized KPIs.
- Define mappings and transformation rules from source systems to curated layers, ensuring traceability, lineage, and reconciliation requirements are met.
- Participate in solution design reviews, identify modeling risks and recommend mitigation for data quality, master reference data, performance, and historization.
- Support data engineers with model‑driven implementation guidance, validate that physical implementations align with approved designs.
- Contribute reusable templates, reference models, and design patterns to accelerate delivery and standardize outputs.
- Collaborate with governance teams to ensure metadata completeness, catalog registration and data quality checks are embedded in delivery.
- Strong data modeling capabilities, logical, physical, dimensional, and ability to document and communicate designs clearly.
- Understanding of data quality, lineage, metadata, and governance requirements for enterprise data products.
- Ability to work across engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to resolve definition and integration challenges.
- Experience with modeling tools and SQL, familiarity with cloud data platform design considerations.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to troubleshoot modeling and integration defects.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum Experience8‑12 years of experience in data modeling and solution architecture within enterprise analytics environments. Hands‑on experience delivering models for modern cloud data platforms and supporting implementation throughout production.
