Personal Data Protection Consultant

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR.
• Conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and ensuring privacy by design principles are integrated into projects and systems.
• Providing guidance to business units on data protection requirements and best practices.
• Monitoring and evaluating data protection practices within the organization and recommending improvements.
• Responding to data protection inquiries and assisting with data subject rights requests.
• Preparing and delivering data protection training and awareness programs to employees.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Data Protection, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in data protection and privacy, with knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Certification in data protection, such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data protection frameworks and principles, including GDPR.
• Experience conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and implementing privacy by design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
