Platform Ops Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of the IT strategy ensuring alignment to the overall business strategy
• Ensure that network equipment, hardware, and software services meet the business requirement
• Provide input into the technology planning of the organization, ensuring that strategic and high-impact technologies are utilized to ensure competitive positioning
• Participate in the development of annual technology goals and detailed plans for goal accomplishment
• Assist with the identification of emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the infrastructure, keeping the company current and competitive in terms of infrastructure and services
• Coordinate the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems and software packages
• Manage and maintain applications and systems and the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of local area network hardware and/or software
• Implement and maintain technology policies, standards, and procedures, manuals, and related checklists; provide written technology policy guidance to direct reports
• Ensure the continual functioning of mission-critical operations and assist with the planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating of the operations of information systems
• Develop skills to manage and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence
