Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate networks and in‑house servers.
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications.
• Ensure network security, connectivity, and high availability.
• Monitor network performance, availability, latency, throughput, and goodput; identify weaknesses.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
• Support VoIP and CCTV infrastructure.
• Administer third‑party applications and systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
• Resolve network and end‑user technical issues.
• Define network architecture, policies, and procedures.
• Specify system requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Research and recommend improvements for server and network systems.
• Ensure continuous updates, patching, and system optimization.

• Proven experience in network administration or network engineering role.
• Strong hands‑on experience in networking, routing, and switching (Cisco, HP, Juniper).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (MPLS, EIGRP, etc.).
• Excellent experience with VoIP and CCTV systems.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, remote access implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Strong knowledge of server infrastructure management, monitoring, and best practices.
• Ability to install, configure, and integrate server hardware and applications.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor network performance, availability, utilization, throughput, latency, and perform analysis.
• Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication.
• Define and implement network policies and procedures.
• Strong ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or IT.
