The Technical Sales Consultant (AWS) is responsible for driving revenue growth across ZainTECH's Amazon Web Services (AWS) portfolio by positioning cloud migration, modernization, data security, and managed services solutions to enterprise customers. The role combines strong AWS technical expertise with consultative sales capabilities to help organizations accelerate cloud adoption, optimize workloads, and achieve their digital transformation objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute targeted go-to-market and sales strategies focused on AWS cloud solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong AWS sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, customer engagement, AWS co-sell initiatives, and partner collaboration.
  • Achieve assigned revenue, consumption, and growth targets across AWS services and managed cloud offerings.
  • Drive pipeline growth and support successful deal progression and closure across enterprise accounts.
  • Engage with customers to understand IT environments, cloud maturity levels, business transformation objectives, and technical and operational challenges.
  • Position AWS solutions to address scalability, cost optimization, resilience, security, innovation, and modernization initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Cloud Leaders, and senior customer stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and customer engagement activities across AWS opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to design and position AWS solutions including AWS Infrastructure (IaaS & PaaS), cloud migration and modernization, containers and Kubernetes, data analytics & AI solutions, and AWS security services.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with the AWS Well‑Architected Framework, AWS best practices, customer technical and compliance requirements.
  • Support technical validation and solution alignment activities during pre‑sales engagement.
  • Deliver AWS‑focused presentations, demonstrations, executive briefings, and customer workshops.
  • Lead discovery sessions, cloud assessments, migration workshops, well‑architected reviews, and landing zone discussions.
  • Support customer enablement and cloud adoption initiatives through consultative engagement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of AWS services, product updates, funding programs, incentives, commercial models, pricing structures, partner ecosystem, and co‑sell motions.
  • Work closely with AWS sales and technical teams to drive joint pipeline development and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on cloud market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging AWS technologies.
  • Own end‑to‑end proposal development for AWS opportunities including scope definition, high‑level solution architecture, commercial models, pricing structures and delivery approach.
  • Ensure proposals align with customer requirements, compliance standards, and ZainTECH quality benchmarks.
  • Support forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting activities.
  • Work closely with AWS Solution Architects, Delivery, Managed Services, and Marketing teams to support AWS‑focused campaigns and go‑to‑market initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery and managed services teams following deal closure.
  • Support AWS consumption growth, renewals, and upsell opportunities post‑deployment.
  • Maintain strong customer engagement to identify expansion opportunities and drive long‑term account growth.
  • Contribute to customer success and cloud adoption initiatives across strategic accounts.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud solution sales, technical sales consulting, AWS solution positioning, or enterprise ICT or cloud environments.
  • Proven success selling AWS migration and modernization services, managed cloud services, or enterprise cloud transformation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of AWS compute, storage, networking, and security services, AWS migration frameworks and tools, AWS data, analytics, AI, and application services, and AWS pricing and commercial models.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise and strategic customer engagements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
