Oracle Database Specialist

As an Oracle Database Specialist at Müller's Solutions, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing Oracle databases to ensure their performance, availability, and security. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and support database solutions that align with the business needs of our organization and clients.

• Design and implement Oracle database solutions based on business requirements and best practices
• Perform database installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Create and manage database objects, including tables, views, indexes, and sequences
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning, index management, and capacity planning
• Implement and maintain database security controls and access privileges
• Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database schemas and data models
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, working closely with technical teams to identify and implement solutions
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies, features, and best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Oracle Database Specialist, with expertise in managing and optimizing Oracle databases
• Proficiency in Oracle database administration tasks, including installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
• Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Knowledge of Oracle security practices and access controls
• Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL programming languages
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
