IT Specialist Luxury Hotel KAFD

Job Scope

As a Hotel IT Specialist you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining the technology infrastructure within the hotel. Your role involves ensuring that all IT systems are operational, secure, and optimized to meet the needs of guests and staff.

• Technical Support – Provide timely assistance for hotel guests and staff with IT-related issues. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems and resolve them efficiently.
• System Maintenance – Perform regular maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to ensure reliable operation of IT systems. Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
• User Training – Conduct training sessions for hotel staff on IT systems, software applications, and best practices. Create user guides and documentation to aid staff in using IT tools effectively.
• Hardware and Software Management – Install, configure, and maintain hardware devices (computers, printers, servers, peripherals). Manage software installations, licenses, updates, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Security Measures – Implement security protocols to protect data, networks, and systems from cyber threats. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
• IT Inventory Management – Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, track assets, manage warranties, and coordinate replacements or upgrades. Assist in procurement for new equipment and software.
• Other projects or tasks may be assigned by the IT Manager, Hotel GM, or Adeera VP of IT.
