Practice Head-Industry​/IoT

Next Era is seeking a dynamic Industry 4.0/IoT Practice Head to lead our digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, logistics, smart cities, and beyond.

This strategic role is pivotal in driving innovation, expanding client relationships, and positioning Next Era as a leader in Industry 4.0 and IoT solutions in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East.

Position Objective:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Industry 4.0/IoT Practice Head to lead the development, strategy, and execution of our Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) initiatives. The Practice Head will drive business growth, establish thought leadership, oversee client projects, and ensure successful delivery of cutting-edge technology solutions across key sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Business Development:

• Define and lead the strategic direction for Industry 4.0 and IoT initiatives.
• Expand the practice’s footprint in manufacturing, logistics, energy, and smart cities.
• Build relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and industry bodies.
• Identify new business opportunities across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
• Stay current with market trends and emerging technologies.

Technology & Innovation:

• Oversee development of solutions using AI, ML, robotics, digital twins, cloud, edge computing, and blockchain.
• Guide technology selection and implementation aligned with client needs.
• Drive innovation and collaborate with R&D and product teams.

Project Delivery & Oversight:

• Manage large-scale transformation projects from concept to completion.
• Ensure technical quality and scalability through testing and validation.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and consultants.
• Build and lead a high-performance team of experts in Industry 4.0 and IoT.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Drive talent acquisition and career development.

Client Relationship & Account Management:

• Serve as the primary contact for strategic clients.
• Translate business challenges into actionable IoT solutions.
• Maintain long-term client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal leadership.

Budgeting & Financial Management:

• Manage practice budgets and ensure delivery within financial constraints.
• Support proposal creation, pricing models, and contract negotiations.

Education & Work Experience

• 18+ years in Industry 4.0, IoT, or digital transformation roles.
• 5+ years in leadership or practice management.
• Proven success in business development and client management.
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
