Responsibilities
- Provide expertise and knowledge in the Oracle Finance modules of Oracle Fusion, actively participating in all phases of the implementation cycle to include Requirements Gathering, Analysis, System Design, Development, Testing, and Implementation.
- Assist business users in mapping and streamlining reengineering business practices to implement various Oracle modules, using a standardized implementation methodology including report specification development and deployment.
- Coach and mentor other engagement team members on issues they may encounter in the design and implementation of solutions.
- Participate actively in internal Oracle Financials projects and procurement problem management.
- Consult offshore or onsite with internal and external clients on business requirements to provide support.
- Act as a senior analyst and champion for Oracle ERP and related corporate financial systems architecture, including applications and data.
- Support multiple projects and tasks within the assigned area of the Oracle ERP portfolio and related business applications.
- Provide integrated systems planning and recommend new or different solutions that will enhance current systems and support overall corporate and business goals.
- Drive business process reengineering with related lean concepts through Oracle ERP and related information systems best practice deployment.
- Offer in‑depth technical consultation to business units and project supervision to ensure the development of efficient application systems using established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
- Develop and adhere to engagement team project standards to ensure the delivery of quality deliverables.
- Participate in the troubleshooting phase once the product has gone live.
- Develop and document know‑how, controls, and capabilities within the Oracle ERP.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Eight or more years of experience in Oracle ERP implementations, including designing, developing, testing, implementing, supporting, and providing integrated solutions across various industries.
- Willingness to be part of the core internal Oracle ERP team on a permanent basis to implement and support super users and end users.
- At least two full‑cycle implementation projects with Oracle completed.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Financial modules, including project financials and E‑Tax implementations.
- Expertise in implementation, enhancement, and support activities within the Oracle Fusion Cloud environment.
- A strong functional financial background that allows coverage of various financial treatments and consultation.
- Preferably, a financial audit background.
