SAP BW & SAC Consultant | Retail

The SAP BW & SAC Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions for the company's retail operations. This role involves working with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring the integration of SAP BW and SAC for data-driven decision-making, and delivering actionable insights to support retail business functions.

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW solutions, including data modeling and ETL processes.
• Configure and implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting, dashboards, planning, and forecasting.
• Develop interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision‑making.
• Integrate SAP BW with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FICO, S/4
  
  HANA, and Vistex
  .
• Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Gather reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into BI solutions.
• Create reports and dashboards for sales, inventory, finance, and other retail performance metrics.
• Support forecasting, demand planning, and financial planning through SAC planning and predictive analytics capabilities.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP BW and SAC performance.
• Provide recommendations and best practices for SAP BW and SAC usage.
• Train end users on reporting, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and project teams to deliver successful BI initiatives.
• Participate in implementation projects and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics
  , or a related field. A SAP BW and/or SAP SAC certification is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with at least 2 end-to-end SAP BW/SAC implementation projects.
• Previous experience in the retail industry.
• Strong experience in SAP BW data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting.
• Hands‑on experience with SAC stories, dashboards, and planning applications.
• Knowledge of SAP BW/4
  
  HANA, SAP BW on HANA, and SAP S/4
  
  HANA integration

• Experience with SAP HANA modeling, query design, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Objects (BO) and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of SAP Data Services or other ETL tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with business stakeholders.
