Job Title:

Business Analyst

Job Purpose:

The Business Analyst serves as the analytical and technical backbone of the Organizational Excellence Department. This role is responsible for translating business and operational excellence requirements into clear functional specifications, generating data‑driven insights, supporting the design of digital solutions, and ensuring that technology applications are aligned with business strategy and the company’s architectural standards.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration (MBA preferred), Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience

3 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, digital transformation, or related fields.

Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements. Hands‑on experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
Strong knowledge of SQL and database querying
Familiarity with programming languages and scripting
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Understanding of software architecture and system integration
Knowledge of data governance and cybersecurity principles

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis and Functional Specifications:
Translate business requirements for operational excellence initiatives into clear and structured functional specifications. Manage requirement updates and ensure full traceability throughout design, development, and implementation cycles. Facilitate workshops with process owners and initiative teams to identify business needs, constraints, and success criteria.

Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
Analyze operational, quality, maintenance, and financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities. Use analytics and business intelligence tools (Excel, Power BI, Power Platform, SQL, and programming languages) to convert raw data into actionable insights. Develop, lead, or support the creation of dashboards and visualizations for performance reviews, decision‑making, and project prioritization.

Solution Design and Technology Alignment:
Ensure proposed solutions align with business strategies, operational processes, architectural standards, data governance, and security requirements. Lead the design, specification, and evaluation of information system solutions, considering functionality, data structures, integration, infrastructure, performance, and security. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT/digital development teams.

Architecture and Development Support:
Understand and support software architecture design for digital and automation solutions. Assist development teams by clarifying functional and technical requirements. Participate in system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Technology Enablement and Change Support:
Leverage digital technologies and emerging solutions to drive process improvements and support organizational change. Provide recommendations on how technology can enable operational excellence through automation, business intelligence, and predictive analytics. Ensure technology impacts are incorporated into change management and training plans.

Other Responsibilities:

Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or Agile certifications.
Experience in digital transformation and process automation.
Knowledge of predictive analytics and advanced data modeling.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
