To create effective and user-centered digital experiences by understanding user needs, behaviors, and abilities; translating business requirements into intuitive designs; and delivering accessible, efficient, and visually consistent interfaces across digital channels in alignment with Elm's policies and procedures.

• Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Alignment
• Meet with business teams, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, objectives, and user needs.
• Analyze design challenges and propose creative, practical solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Translate business requirements into user experience requirements, design directions, and actionable deliverables.
• Ensure UX design outputs are aligned with business goals, stakeholder expectations, and overall product direction.
• User Research & Experience Insights
• Conduct user research activities such as interviews, persona definition, and user journey mapping.
• Analyze user behaviors, pain points, motivations, needs, and preferences to inform design decisions.
• Prioritize user needs and goals while balancing business and technical considerations.
• Document and share research findings with relevant stakeholders to support informed decision making.
• Analyze system content, data, and information structures to organize them in a logical and user-friendly manner.
• Design information architecture that enables users to find what they need efficiently.
• Structure navigation, flows, and content hierarchy to support clear and intuitive digital experiences.
• Validate information structures with stakeholders and users when needed.
• Interaction & Visual Design
• Create user interface designs using recognized design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
• Design visually appealing interfaces that align with brand guidelines, design standards, and usability principles.
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual design concepts to demonstrate how the system should function.
• Prepare presentations and design walkthroughs to showcase UX/UI solutions and collect feedback.
• Accessibility & Inclusive Design
• Consider the needs of different user types, personas, and accessibility requirements during the design process.
• Ensure digital products are accessible to users, including users with disabilities, in line with recognized accessibility guidelines.
• Apply inclusive design principles to improve usability across different channels, devices, and user contexts.
• Review designs to identify accessibility gaps and recommend improvements.
• Design Handoff & Technical Collaboration
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.
• Provide clear design specifications, assets, and annotations to support implementation.
• Coordinate with product managers, business teams, and technical teams during design handoff and delivery.
• Support implementation reviews to ensure delivered interfaces are consistent with approved designs.
• Usability Testing & Experience Evaluation
• Conduct usability testing to collect feedback from users and validate design effectiveness.
• Perform expert reviews and heuristic evaluations to identify usability issues and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze testing feedback and recommend enhancements to improve user experience over time.
• Support continuous improvement of digital experiences based on user feedback, data, and best practices.
• Design Systems & UX Best Practices
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems, design patterns, style guides, and design libraries.
• Ensure consistency in the application of design system components across digital products and channels.
• Follow recognized UX principles, usability heuristics, design patterns, and guidelines.
• Deliver consistent multi-channel user experiences across mobile, tablet, desktop, kiosk, and other digital touchpoints.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Information Security
• Comply with all relevant information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional training or certifications in UX/UI design, design thinking, accessibility, usability testing, or related design disciplines are an advantage.
