As an IT Support Analyst you will install, maintain and repair computer systems and equipment. You will also provide routine technical support and checks, assisting the wider teams to ensure the continuous availability of the IT network, infrastructure and equipment within the SLA.

About the role
  • Responsible for asset control and stock ordering of devices as required.
  • Assist users with hardware issuing or replacement as required.
  • Ensure that issues and support requests are resolved within defined SLA.
  • Document all issues and support requests within the ITSM tool.
  • Send devices off for repair and liaise with vendors.
  • Adhere to processes and procedures.
  • Set up mobile phones.
  • Perform hardware refreshes.
  • Provide additional support to client and internal meeting rooms.
  • Perform daily backup tape changes.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot storage and server controllers; replace storage disks and server blades as required.
  • Conduct physical daily checks of system hardware health and lights.
  • Perform daily checks of room systems, including air conditioning, fire suppression and UPS systems.
  • Upgrade switches, manage consoles and backups.
  • Apply basic network skills, cable tracing in comms rooms, and troubleshoot onsite wireless issues.
  • Chaperone vendors during maintenance work.
  • Participate in project work and non‑business hour deployments, including nights and weekends.
  • Assist with video conferencing support in meeting rooms as required.
About you
  • Must have both English and Arabic language skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Broad software application skills desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to master new software applications and technologies.
  • Prior experience with a ticketing system strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in network skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Windows operating systems and hardware in a computer support setting.
  • Experience working in a networked environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management processes highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of AV systems and telecommunications beneficial.
