Executive Storytelling: Produce powerful, clear storytelling materials and business reviews that are easy-to-digest, translating complex retail operational data and market trends into actionable insights that encourage active conversation among executive audiences.
Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and communicate key insights regarding activities taking place at priority peer retailers, digital grocery platforms, and emerging quick-commerce players, becoming a subject matter expert on regional retail dynamics.
Local Network Utilization: Leverage and cultivate a robust network of local industry contacts, field experts, and partners to gather proprietary insights, validate market rumors, and stay ahead of local regulatory and commercial shifts.
Field Insights &

Collaboration:

Participate in discussions with local market operations and regional teams to collect ground-level insights across supply chain, fulfillment, and consumer behavior; use industry knowledge to connect the dots and translate inputs into valuable strategic recommendations.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Engage with the broader business intelligence team on weekly meetings, team-wide activities, and other work streams; develop strong relationships with cross-border and local partners to provide robust, integrated insights.
Project Delivery: Work independently or with teammates on recurring (weekly/monthly/quarterly) and ad-hoc strategic projects, while supporting broader team work streams as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications , Capabilities, And Skills

Industry

Experience:

3+ years of experience in business management, competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, e-commerce, retail operations, quick-commerce, or a related field (experience in Middle East markets is highly preferred).
Language Proficiency: Native or professional fluency in Arabic and English (both written and verbal) is required to effectively conduct local market research, review Arabic policy documents, and communicate with local stakeholders.
Local Professional Network: Possess an established and active professional network within the Saudi Arabian retail, e-commerce, or logistics ecosystem, with the demonstrated ability to independently source primary market intelligence.
Agility & Drive: Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional, cross-timezone team under agile business environments.
