We are currently hiring a VAS Performance Engineer to join a leading telecom environment in Saudi Arabia, supporting the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of Value Added Services across large scale mobile networks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong telecom performance experience and a passion for improving service quality and customer experience.
Qualifications and Responsibilities- Strong experience in telecom VAS platforms and service performance management
- Solid understanding of KPIs, KQIs, SLA monitoring, and customer experience metrics
- Experience analyzing service degradation and conducting root cause analysis
- Ability to drive optimization initiatives and improve service quality
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands on experience with VAS platforms including USSD, SMSC, MMSC, VMS, RBT, MCN, MCC, and Anti Spam solutions
- Strong knowledge of telecom protocols including SMPP, HTTP, SIP, SS7, and Diameter
- Experience with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G core network integration with VAS services
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools, probes, dashboards, and analytics platforms
- Experience preparing KPI reports, performance dashboards, and service quality reviews
- Ability to analyze traffic trends, recommend capacity improvements, and optimize network performance
- Exposure to automation, AI driven analytics, Python, or SQL is an advantage
- Work on large scale telecom networks and customer facing services
- Exposure to advanced analytics, automation, and performance optimization initiatives
