To support the execution of internal audit activities related to digital transformation initiatives, information technology governance, cybersecurity controls, systems implementation, and IT operations. The role is responsible for assessing the effectiveness of IT controls, identifying risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and providing recommendations to enhance governance, risk management, and control processes.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the planning and execution of IT and digital transformation audit engagements in accordance with the approved audit plan.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of IT governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
- Review digital transformation programs, projects, and initiatives to evaluate compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Evaluate information systems, applications, databases, and supporting infrastructure controls.
- Conduct audits related to cybersecurity, information security, access management, data privacy, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Identify control weaknesses and areas for improvement and recommend practical solutions.
- Perform risk assessments related to emerging technologies, digital platforms, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Review compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare audit working papers, reports, findings, and recommendations in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of agreed audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with business units and technology stakeholders to facilitate audit activities and obtain required information.
- Stay informed of emerging technology risks, cybersecurity trends, and leading practices in IT auditing.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Digital Transformation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in IT Audit, Internal Audit, Digital Transformation, Risk Management, or Information Security.
- Experience in government, semi-government, or large corporate environments is preferred.
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
