Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and manage the organization’s network and network security infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable networking environment, while providing technical leadership and guidance to the network team.

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures.
• Oversee daily network operations, projects, and incident response activities.
• Act as the highest escalation point for complex network and security issues.
• Define, maintain, and document network architecture, standards, and procedures.
• Manage and configure firewalls, switches, and access points (Fortinet, Cisco, HP, Aruba).
• Conduct network risk assessments, audits, and lead security compliance initiatives (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Proactively propose enhancements and upgrades to support future scalability and business growth.
• Collaborate closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure aligned infrastructure strategies.
• Manage vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and service quality.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing technical team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering, network security, or a similar role.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Network security solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, F5 BIG-IP, etc.)
• Firewalls, switches, routing protocols, and network design
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
• Penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools
• Solid understanding of industry frameworks and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, ITIL).

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
• CCNA / CCNP
• Security+, CEH, or equivalent certifications
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
