Overview

AWS Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a skilled Sr. Delivery Security Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business objectives. The consultant drives customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Engaging with AWS customers and internal stakeholders as trusted security advisors to executives and technical teams
• Promoting Amazon's culture of security and maintaining the highest security standards throughout interactions with customers, partners, peers, and internal stakeholders

Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, the Delivery Consultant will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer's needs. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose effective migration strategies to AWS, provide guidance on industry trends and emerging technologies, lead the implementation process, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks throughout the project.

• Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
• Experience in external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management
• Experience in cloud architecture and implementation, and experience in Security, Risk, and Compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands‑on security experience in two or more of the following:
  • Cloud Security
  • Application Security (security SDLC, threat modeling, code review)
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Network Security
  • Data Protection
  • Incident Response
  Hands‑on experience implementing enterprise security solutions (Data Loss Prevention, WAF, SIEM, etc.)

• Experience with cloud‑based solutions (AWS or equivalent), systems, networks, and operating systems
• Relevant security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, etc.) are a plus
• Experience with complex, cloud transformation projects
• Strategic thinking and decision‑making capabilities in ambiguous environments
• German language skills
