Location - Riyadh
Job PurposeThe Fan Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, integration, testing, and operational delivery of the Fan solution for a large-scale international event. The role will oversee all technical aspects of the Fan , ensuring seamless integration with event systems, government platforms, access control solutions, ticketing systems, and stakeholder databases.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical planning, deployment, and operation of the Fan m throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the integration of Fan with ticketing, accreditation, access control, immigration, security, and other relevant platforms.
- Coordinate with technology providers, system integrators, government entities, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee system architecture, interfaces, APIs, data exchange requirements, and technical documentation.
- Develop and manage technical project plans, implementation schedules, testing plans, and operational readiness activities.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), operational testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Monitor system performance, stability, security, and availability before and during operations.
- Coordinate incident management, issue resolution, and technical support activities.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, privacy, and information security requirements.
- Support venue and site readiness activities and oversee deployment of Fan
-related infrastructure across operational locations. - Prepare technical reports, operational procedures, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations.
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and technical service providers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in large-scale technology projects, identity management systems, digital platforms, ticketing systems, accreditation systems, or event technology operations.
- Strong experience managing system integrations and complex multi-stakeholder technology environments.
- Experience with identity management platforms, access control systems, ticketing systems, or government digital services.
- Knowledge of APIs, system architecture, databases, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience supporting major international events, sporting events, exhibitions, festivals, government programs, or other large-scale public initiatives.
- Experience working on Fan , digital identity, visitor registration, accreditation, border management, access management, or large-scale customer onboarding solutions.
- Experience coordinating with government technology entities, national digital platforms, and identity management ecosystems.
- Relevant certifications in project management, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, or identity and access management are highly desirable.
