Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Initiation – Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders; develop detailed project plans including timelines, tasks, resource requirements, and budget.
• Team Leadership – Assemble and lead cross‑functional project teams; provide clear direction, set expectations, and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Communication – Effectively communicate project goals, progress, and issues to stakeholders, team members, and other relevant parties; facilitate regular project meetings and produce status reports.
• Resource Management – Allocate and manage resources efficiently, considering the skills and availability of team members; work with resource managers to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Risk Management – Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technology Expertise – Possess a solid understanding of IT systems, software development methodologies, and emerging technologies relevant to the project.
• Quality Assurance – Implement quality control processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards; conduct regular reviews to verify compliance with technical specifications.
• Vendor Management – Coordinate with external vendors and third‑party service providers when necessary; ensure vendor deliverables align with project requirements.
• Change Management – Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs effectively; evaluate the impact of changes on the project and communicate adjustments to stakeholders.
• Client Stakeholder Relations – Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations; foster positive relationships and address concerns proactively.
• Documentation – Create and maintain project documentation including project charters, requirements, technical specifications, and testing plans.
• Security and Compliance – Ensure that projects comply with relevant IT security standards and regulations; incorporate security measures into project planning and execution.
• Governance – Enforce project governance standards, tools, and methodologies to maintain consistency and accountability.

• 5+ years in similar roles.
• BSc or MSc in a technical degree;
  Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Understanding of microservice architecture concepts.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience managing IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development methodologies, and project management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Familiarity with industry‑specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a dynamic IT environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Agile or other project management methodologies a plus.
• Experience using team collaboration tools, preferably Jira (dashboarding, reporting, sprint tracking, and process control).
• Experience managing project‑related escalations from initiation to closure, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
