Job Overview

The E-Commerce Director is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and performance of the company’s e-commerce platform and online sales channels. The role focuses on driving digital revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring effective execution of online business operations aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities and define KPIs to track performance.
2. Website & Platform Management
  • Oversee website performance, usability, and continuous optimization.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness, SEO optimization, and smooth user experience.
  • Manage updates, enhancements, and technical issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize product listings.
  • Ensure effective product presentation to maximize conversions.
  • Support promotional and merchandising strategies.
4. Customer Experience
  • Improve the end-to-end online customer journey.
  • Enhance service tools such as live chat, FAQs, and returns process.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
  • Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
  • Use data insights to improve traffic and conversion rates.
6. Operations & Inventory Alignment
  • Ensure coordination between e-commerce and inventory systems.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and reduce stock issues.
  • Lead and develop the e-commerce team.
  • Manage budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Build relationships with vendors and technology partners.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience, including strong background in e-commerce leadership.
  • Experience in digital marketing, online retail, and platform management.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce tools, analytics, and SEO/PPC platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
