GT Medical is looking for a competitive, proactive, and results-driven Technical Support Officer to provide first-line IT support and ensure smooth day-to-day technology operations across the organization. You will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, network, and system-related issues while delivering excellent user support.
What You Will Do- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, remote tools, and on-site assistance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions within Microsoft 365
- Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and email services
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT teams when required
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding (IT setup and access provisioning)
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and Wi-Fi issues
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and report incidents promptly
- Install and configure IP phones (Grand stream)
- Install and maintain CCTV systems (Hikvision)
- Deploy and manage endpoint protection (ESET)
- Provide user training and promote IT best practices
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, One Drive, etc.)
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience in hardware and software installation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with IT asset management and user administration
- Exposure to IP telephony (Grand stream), CCTV (Hikvision), and biometric systems (ZKTeco) is an advantage
- Experience with endpoint security solutions (e.g., ESET or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities - Willingness to provide both on-site and remote IT support
