We are seeking an experienced Backup Administrator to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with Dell Data Protection technologies
, cyber resilience solutions, and enterprise backup infrastructures.
Backup & Recovery Administration
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise backup solutions using Dell technologies including Net Worker, Data Domain, PPDM, Avamar, and Cyber Recovery Solution (CRS)
- Develop backup policies, schedules, retention plans, and recovery procedures
- Monitor backup environments and troubleshoot backup failures and performance issues
- Manage backup operations across on-premises, offsite, and cyber vault environments
- Design and maintain Dell Cyber Recovery Solution (CRS) environments
- Manage Cyber Recovery Vaults, air‑gapped backups, and cyber resilience controls
- Execute cyber recovery testing and validation exercises
- Implement and automate cyber recovery workflows to support ransomware recovery readiness
- Develop and maintain DR and Cyber Recovery strategies aligned with RTO and RPO objectives
- Conduct disaster recovery drills and recovery testing exercises
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to strengthen business continuity capabilities
- Administer Dell Data Domain environments including replication, deduplication, and capacity planning
- Manage backup integration with SAN, NAS, and enterprise storage platforms
- Optimize storage utilization while maintaining recovery performance objectives
- Monitor environments using Dell DPC, NMC, Cyber Sense, and related tools
- Troubleshoot backup, storage, replication, and cyber recovery issues
- Coordinate with Dell support and vendors for advanced issue resolution
- Develop automation scripts using Power Shell and Bash
- Implement encryption, access controls, and compliance‑driven backup security measures
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and audit controls

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Strong hands‑on experience in enterprise backup administration and disaster recovery environments
- Experience with Dell Data Protection Suite technologies is highly preferred

- Cybersecurity‑related certifications are a plus
